As an independent Danish artist, based in Dubai, with roots that stretch across Bangladesh, Thailand, Switzerland, Denmark, and England, I am constantly inspired and energized by the diversity, colors and impressions of where I travel and live. Each place has left an indelible mark on my creative spirit, contributing to all the things that fuel my work.

I graduated from a Master’s degree in Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry in 2019, in London. And although I loved what I studied - and still today am working in the corporate world - my love for being creative and making things has never left. My journey as an ‘artist’ has been primarily paved by being a keen hobbiest, and i’ve learnt as I go and developed my style over a long (long) time.

Finding time to be creative is not just an outlet for me, it’s a form of exercise that I take very seriously. It has allowed me to embrace the beauty of life's experiences while honing the craft and finding balance between the pace of everday life and the intentionality of connecting with creativity (and keeping your left-side brain happy and thriving).

In establishing Stouby Studios, I wanted to create a dedicated space where I could nourish my creativity and push the boundaries of how I think about and produce it. My work reflects my love for vibrant colours, human connections, and the impressions left on me by nature and the diverse communities I've encountered through my travels.

It’s all about playfulness and self-exploration, where I believe art is, and should be, fundamentally a joyful conversation and pursuit.

Since starting the Studio, I’ve had the privilege of working on several bespoke commissions with people from across the world. Now, residing in Dubai, i’m establishing a new community, and finding my place in the art scene here :)
